REGISTRATIONS FOR THE MARATHON RACE HAVE CLOSED
The Athens Classic Marathon Organizing Committee and the Hellenic Athletics Federation (SEGAS), which is the Official Organizer of the event, jointly announce the final closing of registrations for the Marathon Race and Power Walking of the 2010 Athens Classic Marathon event.
Unfortunately, at the time being, there are no cancellations or returned entries that could be offered to those who missed the registration deadline of March 28, 2010.  In case of having any cancellations in the near future, SEGAS will announce that in proper time.
We would like to sincerely thank all those who submitted their registration in time, supporting this significant, historical and sporting event. The Organizing Committee will make any possible effort so that this race is marked in the memory of all participants as the best race ever.
Registrations in the 10km and 5km Road Races are still available. We invite all those who wish to participate in any of these races to submit their registration in time, as available places are becoming less by the hour.

OPEN INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF MEDALS FOR THE 2010 ATHENS CLASSIC MARATHON EVENT
The Hellenic Athletics Federation (SEGAS) announces an open invitation to tender for the procurement of medals (with ribbon) for the 2010 Athens Classic Marathon event, pursuant the decision of its Executive Board dated 19/05/2010. The awarding criteria group for the selection of the most favourable bidder will be the relevant financial offer, the artistic outcome and the suggested medal’s size.
Tenders must be submitted in a sealed envelope, delivered to the Headquarters of SEGAS (137, Syngrou Avenue, Nea Smirni), and accordingly entered in the register of the Federation no later than Friday 25 June 2010, 12.00pm.
